Episode 7
My mother and I are praying right now. My mother goes to war on her knees, forever feeding her knees their food. She taught me how to pray and how to serve God in everything that I go through – good or bad. Even now, I’m about to marry Onaleruna Mohale, and whether this is good or bad, I must pray. What I do know is that I’m about to enter a whole new phase of my life and I’m going to need prayer now more than ever. She and I are holding hands and we are baring our souls to the Lord. I’m even crying in this prayer because God’s words have never meant more to me than what they do now.
When we are done praying, my mom holds my hands and she says to me: “Regodise, I don’t know how to use witchcraft, so there’s no door that I can show you to go and knock on and ask for black magic when you feel threatened or when the steep is too steep. All I know is prayer. And you of all people know what prayer has done. Therefore my child, here is a Bible. This is the weapon I’m sending you off in marriage with. Pray every day – when life seems easy and when life seems difficult. I didn’t want this for you – marrying into that awful family, but it’s what the good Lord has trusted you with. Lead Tholoana Kingdom with your all, next to your husband. And when it’s time to go to war, this is the weapon that you use.”
Clearly my mother doesn’t know the man that I’m getting married to. But yes, I will pray, even if he doesn’t join me. The throne that I will always put first is God’s altar. That’s where I will go to fight for the throne that my husband is to inherit.
I am led to the Mohale gate – the royal house – in song and dancing. My village decided to come and support my family in this step that I am taking. I don’t believe that. I believe that they just wanted to see the inside of the royal house walls and I presented them with the best opportunity to do that. Our village is not poor, it is just a village. But the houses are big, the yards are huge and the farming is rich. So people have brought out their massive cars and gave lifts to those who do not have cars. My crowd is much bigger than Ona’s crowd and my crowd is singing much louder than Ona’s crowd. Ona’s crowd is the elite club of Tholoana Kingdom. It is his family. It is his parents’ friends. It is his friends and their plus ones. Then there are some government officials there within the crowd. One of the critical things I begged God for in prayer is that the prime minister does not attend this wedding. It would take me back to a place I’d rather not visit today. I am aware that I am marrying into a family that is practically his boss, so one day, I will have to confront a past I’d rather erase from my memory. But for today, God heard me. I don’t spot him or his family in Ona’s crowd.
I don’t know how I feel about today. I really don’t. I’m scared. I’m nervous. But I’m doing it. I see the Mohales and their crowd getting closer and closer to the gate, led by kgosi and his mofomahadi. Ona is walking next to kgosi Mohato and he is so proud. Khotso is walking next to mofomahadi Kea and he is happy.
Ona and his crowd now stand before the gate and there is silence.
My uncle, whom I tricked and bought non-alcoholic ciders for then gave to him to feast on, is the one who pleads with the Mohales to open the gate and let us in because the Mohase village has brought their bride. My uncle is always drunk – always. He finished all three bottles of whiskey that the Mohales brought when they came to pay lobola for me. Last night, my mother and I needed more than prayer to keep him sober. I told my mom about the non-alcoholic ciders. Malome was just happy that there were drinks in front of him, but he complained all night that he wasn’t getting drunk. My mom told him it’s because his system is now used to alcohol so he doesn’t get drunk anymore. He accused his wife of using witchcraft on him to never get drunk ever again. I hope Ona does not age this badly. His tongue is too catastrophic for him to become a drunk.
The Mohales accept the two sheep and three goats that my family presents to them because they cannot just bring a bride, they must secure my comfort in this house forever.
The singing starts again and before I know it, I’m holding hands with Ona and I’m being led into my marital home. I want to cry, I really do. My mother is no longer next to me. But –
“You look beautiful”, Ona tells me.
I crack my first smile of the day. Our eyes lock in love with each other. Now that I’m actually seeing him, he looks amazing too. Ona is a very attractive man. I’m not fighting off the Thato’s of the world for nothing. But he’s mine now. God put him in my hands and it’s up to me to either truly make or break this man.
“So when are you giving me a white wedding?” I ask him.
He laughs aloud. I see a flash from a camera and I just know that picture will paint a very happy story about us.
“You want a white wedding? Are you serious about this white wedding thing?” He asks me, still laughing.
“What girl doesn’t want a white wedding? I want to have my Cinderella moment and claim you before God and a million witnesses.” I say.
He looks at me like he wants to make love to me. And me, I go for his lips and make sure that every camera pointed at us captures this passionate moment.
I am led into some room where I am to be advised on how to be a Mohale bride. Ona should be next to me being given advice as well. But this is Tholoana Kingdom. A man is a man and a woman is an accessory to the man. She must be taught on how to make him look good at all times – like the perfect timepiece. She must remain timeless no matter how trash her man is.
These women go on and on for over an hour and I just get sleepier by the minute. Ona’s mother walks in with her friends – her age mates. The gogos leave and now it is their turn to lecture me. Aunt Gugu is here, Aunt Nosi and Aunt Pearl are all here.
“I was taken from a man that I loved and arranged to marry a man that I barely knew many years ago – all for this beautiful kingdom of ours. So trust me, I know all about sacrificing for this country”, THAT is Queen Kea’s opening statement. Also, can we all just have a moment of silence to acknowledge that my mother-in-love is an entire queen?! Even my sleepiness parades away from my eyes.
“I know that you and Ona were not exactly ready for this step in your relationship, but you’ve done the right thing. I am not going to tell you to sacrifice your soul for Onaleruna. I am not going to tell you to give up who you are for Onaleruna or this family. Being the ideal makotifor me is you keeping my son alive in a very dangerous system. I want you to open him up to new ways of thinking, allowing him to be soft with you because he has to be tough with every other person. And all that I ask is that you keep my sons together. Please don’t separate or come between my boys. This child that you are carrying is theirs, not just Ona’s. And while you are Ona’s wife, you are now also Khotso’s sister and my daughter. We will take care of you. We will love you. We will respect you. We will never let anything happen to you. All we ask is that you take care of us, that you love us, protect us and not come between us. All that is beautiful, beautify it even more. All that is ugly, help us fix it instead of using it to betray us.” Queen Kea.
Then she suddenly gets emotional.
“Girl, we are not going to teach you how to have sex with your man – you have a baby on the way to prove that you know what you are doing”, Aunt Gugu says and we all giggle.
“But we have made sure that we bought you lingerie to ensure that you make sure that his eyes never stop having sex with your body even when the private areas are not touching.” Aunt Gugu is honestly something else, but she has definitely lightened up the mood.
“The biggest thing about making the decision to spend the rest of your life with one person from this day forward is that you are committing to things that you are not even sure will happen – some you don’t even know will happen. You don’t know what this journey that you are taking will require of you and there is absolutely no person on this planet who can tell you how to love Ona and how to be his wife. You know sides to Ona that we don’t – in as much as we raised him, we don’t own him. You are the best person who can manage Ona because in his craziness, he chose you. And that makes us have faith in you that you will help him reach his potential – especially his potential in love.” This is Aunt Pearl.
“Welcome to married life, Regodise Mohale. Welcome to one hell of a rollercoaster ride. You are marrying Tholoana Kingdom’s prince. Even when you find yourself In Too Deep in the unexpected, choose him. You will know what to do from that choice. You will always have us as we hope that we will always have you” Aunt Nosi.
Now, Queen Kea and Ona’s sister, Kefentse, are dressing me up in my Mohale bride outfit. The baby bump is growing and they cannot help but notice. Queen Kea smiles at the baby bump. Kefentse is… I don’t know… strange. She suddenly cannot even touch me anymore. Queen Kea wants to address it, but she chooses peace and happiness for this day. So she dresses me up alone, tying my doek around my head then my sanna marena blanket that the Mohales bought for me around my shoulders on top of my dress. The dress is a red and brown seshweshwe dress with beads and feathers touching it up. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Now we step outside of the room and women ululate so loud that the people outside know that the bride is ready to be presented to the community. Ona is called from outside. He is accompanied inside with his brother and friends who are honestly dressed up as if they are groomsmen. I don’t even have bridesmaids hle!
But anyway, he takes my hand and he leads me outside. The singing is loud and the mood is extremely festive. Ona is extremely happy. I have never seen him dance like this. And his friends – Modimo waka! They just invite a crowd, honestly. I’m so jealous. I should have rented a few people to dance next to me like this as well. But you know what, I just dance with them, and this leads to the yard roaring with happiness and laughter. It is a good day. It really is. We are on the street now, singing and dancing. The community has come out to witness this. The media is here capturing every singing mouth, every dancing leg and every blissful moment between my husband and I.
I now sit in the middle of the street on top of a grass mat. The maidens of the village bring me gifts. As they leave gifts or money next to me, the royal house gives them a blanket and a box of groceries. Their parents help them carry these. This is beautiful. If the aim was to make me feel like a queen, the mission has been accomplished!
We are now at a table having lunch. The speeches are done and I heard none of it. I am beyond exhausted. This day started at 6am. It is now 4pm and I am bushed! I want a bed and I want to close my eyes on it. Ona kept trying to make me laugh throughout the speeches and it worked. I think he noticed that I was dozing off.
“Let’s get out of here”, he says. The garden is buzzing with people who are eating and socialising. Outside of the royal gates, tents are set up and the community has been invited to celebrate with us. The streets are buzzing with people eating and chattering away.
“And go where?”
“An early honeymoon? I booked us a nice honeymoon cabin in Taung – the place is called Mmammetsi.”
“I love that place! I’ve never been there, but the pictures have sold it well to me. But it’s so expensive and it’s six hours away. We going to be on the road for six hours?”
“Yeah. We need the time to ourselves. This past week has been insane”. I know what he means.
I’m already on my feet and am waiting for him to lead the way. He stands up and holds my hand. We walk to his room.
We change into comfortable changing clothes and my baby-bump is becoming more difficult to hide.
“My bags haven’t been brought in yet. I can’t even pack”. I tell Ona as he is walking around here in suit pants and no t-shirt.
“Do you want to have sex until your bags are brought up?” He says.
I hope he’s not being serious. I look at him and roll my eyes.
He laughs at me.
“So how do we get your bags up here?” He asks me.
“I have to go and get them.” I say.
“I can ask Khotso and Pule to get them. Then we can pack and go.”
“They won’t mind?”
“Of course not, baby”.
He kisses my cheek then walks out the room – I suppose to go and ask his brothers to get my bags.
…
We finally arrive in Mmammetsi. We were driving down in Ona’s Jeep Wrangler. It was a nice drive. We were talking and actually connecting. But now I’m exhausted and all I want to do is shower and sleep. It is 11pm anyway.
Ona brings in our bags while I shower. This place is nice. The chalets are over 20metres apart. There are only 10 chalets accommodating 2 people in each chalet. The shower is on the balcony, outside in the bushes and the jacuzzi is right outside the living room. Then there is a room right outside the kitchen. This is nice. This place is so peaceful.
Oh and did I tell you how gorgeous my wedding ring is? It is a beautiful pear-shaped diamond ring with a band covered in diamonds. I bought Ona a simple platinum wedding band, with his money of course because I’m not exactly rich. When I start getting paid though, I’ll use my money to have something nice engraved on it.
I walk into the bedroom wrapped in a towel and find Ona drinking champagne.
“Really?”
“What?”
“I’m pregnant and you bring champagne that I cannot enjoy with you?”
“I got you a non-alcoholic bottle. Come on, it’s our wedding night. I wanted us to celebrate.” He says as he bites his lip.
“Are you not tired? That was such a long drive. I’m thankful it was raining the whole way here because the heat would have ended me.”
He pulls me onto the bed and wraps me in his arms. I’m enjoying this. I like this.
“I want this to work. I want us to be happy.” He says.
“Me too. But I know I have to prepare myself for when you take on a second wife. So I want to enjoy being your only wife for as long as I can. Because when you make Thato your second wife, I know we will never have moments like this again.” I say this and it actually hurts me.
“I’m not going to marry Thato.” He says.
“Why not? You love her. Why would you just want to keep her as your mistress?”
“You do know that we broke up, right?”
I was hoping. But I didn’t know it actually happened.
“For me?” I ask him.
“For you. For our child. For us.” He says.
I brush his face. I’m suddenly getting emotional. He kisses me. I kiss him back. And yes, we enjoy our wedding night sexually.
I look at my beautiful Dise peacefully sleeping next to me. I feel so safe and secure with her. My mother always says that when she was with my father, she was at her ultimate high. I think I get what she meant. Regodise is my ultimate high. To think that when we met, the plan was just to smash and pass. But she reeled me in and I’ve been hooked ever since. There have been women – Thato being one of them. In fact, I met Thato before I met Dise and I cheated on Thato with Dise. But no woman has made me feel the way that Dise makes me feel. I can’t imagine doing this with anyone else.
My phone rings. Morena is calling me. I’m on my fucken honeymoon and he is calling me at 6am?
“Morena?”
“How soon can you get to Miami?”
“I’m on my honeymoon.”
“What? What’s a honeymoon?”
“Morena, what’s going on?”
“I need you and Khotso in Miami. Shaka and I are headed there right now. We are about to board my private jet. Qaphela is leaving from KZN.”
“What am I supposed to tell Regodise? We just got here?”
“You tell her you have to work because that’s how you are paying for whatever bed she is sleeping on right now. And she needs to go and be a wife instead of whatever she is being on a honeymoon. Drive back to the royal house and leave with Khotso. He is waiting for you.”
The line goes dead.
Shit!
I haven’t been able to sleep much, but I passed out eventually. I’m woken up by a heavenly smell of food and I notice that my Mrs is not in bed. This was supposed to be me spoiling her. Now she’s up and about spoiling me? I smile to myself. It is 10am and we haven’t left for the royal house yet.
I get out of bed and make my way to the kitchen. She is dressed in a sexy lingerie dress. I can’t help but just watch her listen to some audio book and move about in the kitchen. She’s always listened to audio books in the morning and they are all novels. She’s not into the political stuff or self-help kind of writing. She wants stories every morning to start her day.
She turns around and notices me. She smiles at me. I smile at her. How am I supposed to tell her that we have to get back on the road?
“Breakfast is almost ready, husband.” She says. Her belly is so sexy. I can’t wait to meet my child.
“Thank you, baby.” I say and settle on a kitchen stool.
“What’s wrong?” She asks me.
I’m trying to find a way to tell her that we have to drive back.
“Morena called. He needs me to join him on a business trip.”
She gives me a look!
“I know.” I say.
“Can’t Khotso and Pule go?”
“He wants all three of us there.” I say.
“You can stay here. Fiks and Rathi can join you. And when I get back, we can-
“You want me to spend my honeymoon with your brothers’ girlfriends?”
Why must she put it like that?
I scratch my head.
“Agh!” She says as she leaves the kitchen.
Must I dish up for myself or?
We arrive back at the royal house just before the sun sets and Regodise is pissed off to say the least. She didn’t say one word to me as we drove back. She listened to her audio book the whole way here. Morena better be taking us to Miami for proper shit.
She climbs out the car and holds onto her stomach as she pulls a face.
“Are you okay?” I ask her.
She gives me that look of hers again. This is really not the time.
I see my mom driving in with her McLaren and she parks her car behind mine.
Dise holds onto the car and groans as she holds onto her stomach.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” I’m now next to her, holding on to her.
“Keng?” My mom asks in panic.
Dise is breathing heavily and she is crying.
“Something is wrong with the baby. Ona, I need to get to a hospital.” Dise says this as she cries.
I see Khotso and Fiks walking towards us. I pick her up and put her in the backseat of my car.
“What’s going on?” Khotso asks me.
“I don’t know. Something is wrong with the baby.” I tell him.
He and Fiks jump into my car as well and my mom speed-drives us to the hospital.
We’ve been waiting for hours to hear something. Fiks gives us food. She must have gone out to get some food.
“Thanks baby”, Khotso says as he accepts the food from her.
My mom gives her a brief smile and accepts the food.
Auntie Nosi and auntie Gugu run into where we are sitting. I see Maboko arrive as well – with Tebza and not his new wife. I want to laugh neh. I do. But-
A doctor finally comes out. I’m the first to stand up and stand in front of him.
“She and the baby are going to be okay. But you need to ease up on the traveling. She tells me you did a six-hour drive on two consecutive days?” The doctor.
“Onaleruna, why would you do that?!” My mom.
“The plan was to take her on a honeymoon. Then morena called and said we needed to get back urgently and attend to business so –
“Well, you not going anywhere now. Mohato must have lost his mind in these businesses of his. I’ll phone him.” My mom.
“I’ll phone Shaka. He will also hear it!” Auntie Nosi.
“Can I see her?” I ask. While I appreciate that morena and uncle Shaka are about to get it from their wives, I need to make sure that mine is okay.
“Of course. But no stress. We’ll be keeping her overnight for some observations. We want to make sure that your wife and your son are okay.” He says.
Something moves in each and every one of us. My mom looks like she is about to cry. Khotso smiles at me.
“My son?” I ask as I smile.
“I hope you didn’t want to keep the gender a secret until –
“No, it’s just… I’m having a son?”
“Congratulations, Mr Mohale.” The doctor.
Khotso hugs me.
I’m having a son.
She’s still fast asleep. I watch her sleep. I don’t like that she’s in hospital, but I’m happy that she’s going to be okay – her and my son.
I phoned her mother and told her what’s going on. She started panicking, so I sent a car to go and pick her up from their house. She will stay with us for a while. Regodise is going to need her because morena is pissed that Khotso and I are delayed. Pule is already in Miami. I guess my mom shat on him because he said, “[m]ake sure makoti is okay before you fly here. I don’t want your mom on my case.”
She opens her eyes and tries to stretch. Then there’s panic on her face. She feels her stomach.
“Hey! Keng?” I ask her.
“Ngwana!”
“He’s fine. Both of you are okay.” I say.
“He?”
I smile at her, nod my head and say, “He. Thank you, baby.”
She giggles.
We kiss.
“So, why am I still in here?” She asks me.
“They are keeping you overnight for observations. But I should be able to take you home tomorrow. Your mom is on her way as well”.
She smiles at me.
“And your business trip?”
“I have to be here for you and my son. You come first.”
“We should have just stayed in Mmammetsi. I’d kill to be in a Jacuzzi right now.” She says.
I laugh aloud and she just smiles at me.
The door opens and Fiks has get-well-soon balloons and flowers. She leads in Khotso (who has some fruit basket with him), Maboko (who has food with him) and Tebza (who has a paper bag with a gift in it).
Regodise is laughing and saying thank you to everyone, so this is good.
When the noise dies down and after Fiks and Tebza have dished up food for everyone, I take it upon myself to address the elephant in the room because we are all thinking it, but-
Khotso shakes his head at me. He knows what’s about to happen, but not even he is stopping me.
“So Maboko, you taking on a second wife so soon after your wedding?”
The look that Regodise gives me! Regodise and these looks of hers! I need to address them!
Everyone is either looking at me or at Regodise or is facing downwards.
“I’m not planning on having two wives, Mohale.” Maboko tells me.
“Oh, so you, Tebza and Linda have an agreement?” I ask.
“Babe, can you help me to the toilet please?” Dise. I don’t think she needs the toilet. She wants this conversation to stop. But I get up and help her anyway.
“Can you just shush? Please?” She says as soon as the toilet door closes.
“I was wondering-
“It’s none of your business! Who’s asking you about Thato? Especially in front of me? How do you think Teboho feels right now?”
“Tebza needs to own what she’s doing and she knows what she’s doing. I’m not against whatever is going on, but they need to be honest enough about it and Maboko needs to make a decision. And I’m not with Thato anymore!”
“That’s not for you to decide. Focus on your own wife and child and mind the business you are actually invested in and benefit from.”
We look at each other.
She gives me a look!
“What is it with you and these looks?” I ask her.
“Looks?” She asks me while giving me another look.
“Yes! Like the one you are giving me now.”
“Maybe I’m ugly”. She says.
I can’t help but laugh. What the hell?
We all left the hospital at 11pm. The nurses were even chasing us out. Dise has bodyguards stationed outside her room – she is in a single room – and Fiks will be sleeping over with her. It’s just how we do things and I’m glad Dise is not fighting any of it. I know Dise and Fiks don’t get along. But I have faith that Khotso sorted his woman out and reminded her of her place.
Dise’s mother has arrived at the royal house and she is staying in one of the guest bedrooms. I greeted her and made sure she was settled and comfortable. We chatted a bit here and there, but she was tired from the traveling, so I let her sleep.
Now, Khotso, Zithulele and I are parked outside a warehouse. We are dressed in our black overalls, black beanies and black sneakers. The men working under us finally arrive in a gusheshe. They flash their lights at us and we flash ours. Zithulele starts the engine of the black Toyota Fortuner that we are driving and we lead the way. Two gusheshes are following us.
We arrive at a club that is operating without following the necessary protocol. We didn’t just come here to cause havoc. Trust me.
I grab my watermelon-flavoured pin-pop and put it in my mouth. Khotso and I get out of the car. Zithulele just has to keep the engine running. He is our getaway vehicle. When we see the truck drive in, we know it’s time.
The men in the gusheshes get out and cause havoc in the club, pointing guns and making it look like a robbery. We’ll do something cute with the petty cash we will get from the staged robbery. But Khotso and I are now inside the office – we climbed in through the windows and actually busted the owner fucking one of the workers. She’s not even hot. You don’t cheat on your wife with such. Come on now.
“Who are you working with?” Khotso asks him. He must be very brave to operate a club without following protocol and we need to understand where that bravery is coming from.
“What?” Him. He’s still naked and his whore still has her hands covering her breasts and her vagina.
I shoot the guy in the knee. I don’t like confused molecules.
“Who are you working with?” Khotso asks him again after his little scream from the bullet in his knee.
“Tha – tha – tha –
“Who?” I ask, pointing my gun at his whore’s breast.
“Thato! Thato Phaswane. She and her father – Jackson Phaswane.”
Thato is from a rich family and her father buys her businesses as a normal father would buy his daughter jewellery. She could dabble in any industry. She’s doing this to get my attention. She knows too much and she’s stupid if she thinks I love her enough to not touch her. Khotso is looking at me. He doesn’t want to make the call that should be made right now.
“Phone them!” I say.
Khotso looks at me as if I don’t have to do this. Morena wants this resolved by tonight. I am already in the dog-box for not being in Miami. I can’t afford to mess this up. I’m a deacon in the church.
The man dials Thato. Weird. So she’s the point of call. As soon as she answers, her signal is reflected, so we know that some men are headed to wherever she is now.
“Hello?”
“Baby girl. I thought you would have learned by now that there’s a way of doing things.”
“Ona? Aren’t you on a honeymoon or something? Your wife is boring you already?”
“Nope. But you are. And you know you I don’t like being bored.”
“What a coincidence.”
“Coincidence?”
“Yeah. You are bored at the very moment that I happen to be outside your wife’s ward. Fiks told me about the little health scare. So if your dogs are onto me right now, your wife is in the firing line.”
Khotso and I look at each other. Fiks is a fucken liability!
“And your mom. She just walked in on the floor.”
“Thato. You are not welcome here. Why are you here?” I hear my mom say.
“I’m here to see Fiks.” She says.
“Go wait at reception. I’ll tell her to go meet you there.”
“I can’t do that”, Thato says.
“I won’t tell you to leave here again.”
“Your son has called out a hit for me. You, his wife and his precious cargo are my bullet proof vest right now.”
I get a text confirming that her father has been captured.
Someone phones Khotso.
“Sho.” Khotso answers.
“I have a clear shot on Thato. But your mom is arguing with her. I can take her and not harm your mother. But it will happen in front of her.”
“No. Nothing happens in the presence of our wives under any circumstances. Tag Thato’s car. That’s how we will have to execute her.” Khotso says.
“Onaleruna!” My mom is on the line now. Thato must have given her the phone.
“Mah?”
“What is Thato talking about?”
“I don’t know.”
“She says you have a hit put out on her.”
“No, I haven’t.” I lie.
“Okay”.
Then I hear commotion. It must be the bodyguards forcefully escorting Thato out upon my mom’s instruction.
I hang up the call. We shoot the man and his whore. We don’t leave witnesses or loose ends.
We climb out the window then signal for the crime scene to be staged.
Some girls whose organs have been traded are now put out and planted in this club. Mass killings happened during the staged robbery. As soon as Thato’s and Jackson’s bodies are delivered here, we call the police. Them – we don’t kill. They’ll be slightly hurt when they wake up, but they’ll be responsible for all the kidnappings that have happened in Tholoana Kingdom for the past few months and their club is now staged as running illegal human and organ trafficking. Their coffins are waiting for them in their cells.
Thato I’d forgive for old times sake… but then she threatened my mother, my wife and my unborn child. She’s not going to live long enough to tell that story at a bail hearing.
Khotso and I are in an open field now, smoking, as we wait for the news of the arrival of the cops.
“Fiks is a problem.” I say.
“Thato has always been her weakness. But with Thato out the way, I’m giving her another chance. If she fucks up again – we are done.”
I nod my head.
“She and Regodise need to get along. We need them to get along.” I say.
“I agree. After Miami, let’s do a trip. The four of us.”
“Somewhere close though. Regodise and her pregnancy-
