Episode 63

“You have to speak to the twins, Maboko. Their mother’s business is out there and I get it. But we need them to play ball in all of this. Zithulele, I need you to go with Maboko and you guys need to convince them to get them to cooperate with us again.” I say.
Only Tlali and Zithulele met up with Maboko and I after the scheduled 30minutes I had set up for everyone.
They agree, but I think they also need to be sensitive when handling them right now.
“Letlali, can you corrupt networks, hack into systems and do all this crap that Regodise pulled to get a message out there?” I ask Letlali.
She nods her head.
“Good. We are about to own our own channel and drive our shit.” I say.

I knock on the rondel where mofomahadi and morena are arguing in. They are arguing terribly. But when they hear my knock, I hear a violent come in from morena.
I slowly open the door and step into the rondel.
“Dumelang”, I say.
“Teboho, this is not a good time.” Morena says.
Mofomahadi is actually in tears and he is furious!
“I understand, morena. But, we need to strategize and hit back really quickly. If we want to come out of this –
“Teboho –
“Morena, please. This is important.”
I can’t even look him in the eye.
“What do you need from us?” Mofomahadi says, coming to my rescue.
“I’ve written down a few things that you can say in your response to what Regodise has said. But most of it has to come from you… from the heart. Mofomahadi, you need to address your people.” I say.
“With my dirty laundry hanging all over the world?” She says.
“Letlali has deleted the footage, mme. None of it will ever make porn- site…”
I can’t even finish my sentence.
“What am I supposed to tell people?” She says.
“Be honest, mme. Tell them that you loved a man and betrayed your wedding vows. You are their queen, but you are also human. You make mistakes. Your children came from a mistake that you made, but they are your greatest blessing and they are morena’s sons. He has raised them. He has loved them. He has trained them into being the men that they are now – the men who will lead us one day. He’s trained them to be better leaders and make better decisions when it comes to this kingdom. Your mistakes have got nothing to do with the queen that you are and your marriage has gone through trials and tribulations of its own – whose marriage hasn’t? The important thing is that after all is said and done, the two of you still stand together as one. Mofomahadi, you have to go and be a human being… with your husband beside you, communicating that he has forgiven you. Because he has, right, morena?” Me.
He nods his head.
I nod my head then I say, “I’m going to set up for you to start filming. Please get dressed and ready. Here are your speeches that I’ve written for you. You are welcome to read and edit them as you see fit. But that’s the general idea of what you have to go and say. You will also address the political element of it… engaging in a debate of whether or not Tholoana Kingdom is ready to be without a king. There are numbers in there of unemployment, poverty and people who rely on the king’s kindness to go to sleep on full stomachs. Deny the church claims. Outside of what Shaka was caught saying to Nosi on the tapes, Regodise has nothing to prove the existence of the church. Shaka will go out there and talk about his clubs, his businesses and how his businesses support and assist the government in looking after Tholoana Kingdom. He too will trigger the debate around Tholoana Kingdom without a king and make people see how they’ll be killed faster by hunger than by bullets.”
Morena and mofomahadi look at me then keep glancing at the file packs that I’ve given them.
“I’ve paid people and contacted them to host open table talks about morena’s leadership versus the leadership of the kings before them. They will also have the conversation about “Tholoana without a king” and instil the fear of God in them. They need you.
I hand them another file and say, “This file has information of people being kidnapped across the world and how Tholoana Kingdom has one of the lowest statistics in these kidnappings and murders.”
Morena stares at me.
“I loved Regodise with all my heart and may her soul rest in peace. But, we are going to have to paint her into a fully-fleshed pathological liar who needed help and was bitter because Ona cheated on her. She has to be the scorned woman and we all know that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”
“Fuck Regodise. Make her a cheating slut if you have to.” Morena says.
“I’ll give you an hour. Please be ready.” Me.

From this rondel, I take one hell of a deep breath then march my way to Shaka’s and Fifi’s rondel. I stand at their door for a minute before I knock. I take a deep breath. I need them on board too.
I knock on the door.
This time, someone actually opens the door for me to walk in. It’s Fifi.
“Ausi.” She acknowledges me.
“Ausi. Can I come in?” I say.
She lets me in.
I slowly walk in because I honestly don’t know what I’m walking into. Shaka is sitting on the edge of a bed breathing heavily as if he has just returned home from war.
“Uhm, guys… I know it’s a bad time. But we have some cleaning up to do.” I say.
They both look at me.
Shaka is looking at me like…
“Shak, I’ve prepared a file for you to help you prepare for an interview”, I say as I hand him the file.
“I’m doing interviews now?” He aggressively says to me as he just looks at the file I’m trying to hand over to him.
Refiloe is the one who takes the file and gives it to him then says, “Thatha! Do what you need to do to fix this, so that we can go and fix it with the kids.”
Maybe I should have given everyone two hours before we regrouped.
“The important thing is that you need to talk about your business portfolios and how your businesses have contributed to the royal house assisting with uplifting the community and the kingdom. The church doesn’t exist. We deny everything!”
“I’m caught on tape, Teboho. I’m caught on tape discussing the fucken church with my wife.” He says with so much anger and frustration. If Dise were still alive, they’d definitely kill her now.
“Don’t bring it up. At all. No one will be calling in asking you questions or anything like that. Don’t bring it up. Morena will cover illegal activity across the board in comparison to Tholoana Kingdom and he too will deny the church. Dise was a hurt individual after Ona cheated on her. She wants her revenge. End of story.”
Shaka wants to say something, but Refiloe says, “Just do what you are told. Teboho will take care of the rest.”
“Refiloe, stop this thing of yours of treating me like a child. I don’t do fucken interviews.”
“And I don’t do gangsters who have the potential of killing me one day, but here I am.”
“You think I’d kill you?”
“How am I special, Shaka? You killed Mpumi’s mother and Lord knows who else.”
“I had my reasons.”
“And what your reasons are to keep me alive, I wonder.”
Silence.
I really want to get the fuck out of here.
“You are doing the interview today. I’ll speak to Nompumelelo.” Refiloe concludes.
Shaka’s face tightens.
I leave the room while saying, “Please be ready in two hours. Use the file I’ve given you to guide your preparation, please.”

The past five hours have been used for absolute damage control. The Mohales have been in front of the cameras. Shaka has been in front of the cameras. I have even put Maboko on camera as a fellow business man himself and how he is a good supporting character to the business conversation. I’ve been cutting, doing retakes and just performing all necessary tasks to make sure that the message is loud and clear.
I was also checking with my people on the ground in Tholoana Kingdom. I’m keeping the conversation going and I’m making sure that the royal house is controlling the narrative. We are getting phone calls from international leaders on all of this, but we have managed this and we have had international leaders come out and speak in support of Mohato Mohale – one of the best leaders that the world has seen leading a third world country in very difficult socio-economic circumstances.

At 8pm, we air our first video… disrupting all viewership of television at the moment. Our videos run throughout the night and we run them on repeat until it’s something people can sing and sing alone without Dise’s video asking questions and poking holes.

“Thank you, Teboho”, I hear the queen say to me as I’m making notes on the videos and planning the next PR and communications execution plan.
“Mofomahadi, I thought everyone was sleeping”, I say.
“It’s a bit difficult to close your eyes when the whole world has watched you have sex.” She says.
“Well, how did they think you conceived children? You must teach me some of those moves”, I say and she actually laughs. That was the plan.
“Mme, I’m so sorry that it had to come to this, hle. You and Morena didn’t deserve this.” I say.
“I’ll be honest, I never saw it coming. You can never truly vet a person before you let them into your life”. She says.
“I know what you mean. We want to hope and believe that we allow the right people in and we give them the right allowance in our lives. But you know what, that’s not on us. I remember when I had to make a decision about bringing Maboko back into my life. I had all kinds of doubts about trusting him again. I learned that trust is not a two-way street… it’s a personal journey. It’s up to me if I want to trust him again, not up to him. And if I choose to trust him then he breaks it, it’s on him. Not me. I did my part. Mme, you trusted her. She let her hurt lead her to turn on you every way she possibly could. And she did good. She did great actually. But we are dealing with it. Like we always do. We will always have things thrown our way, but we will always get through it. Always! It’s up to you to trust the next makoti in your life. Remi is a good one. I’m not so sure about Thabi.”
She laughs then says, “Why didn’t one of my twins bag you? In fact, you would have been great for Ona.”
“I took your best son, Maboko. God knows he was all that I could handle with two kids.” I say and she laughs.
“He’s a lucky man.” She says, laughing.
“Tebza, it’s Oluremi. She’s in labour and she’s asking for you”, Fifi comes in and says.
I panic a bit and stand up. Mofomahadi stands up with me.
“Show me what to do”, Fifi says as she stands behind my MacBook. Tlali is here with her. She’s helping me block some address that will lead people to where I’m operating from.

I tell her what to look out for and what to make notes for, then I make my way to Khotso’s and Remi’s rondel with Mofomahadi by my side.

MaNgobese – apparently she used to be a doctor by profession – and Thabi are helping her deliver the baby. Khotso is in here, but he is so scared he looks like he is going to faint.
“Wait outside”, I say to him.
He happily leaves.
Mofomahadi and I are here holding Oluremi on both sides. After about a few minutes, a screaming baby girl comes out of Oluremi and we are all laughing in relief and excitement.
Khotso comes into the rondel and he is excited to meet his little baby girl. He holds her and it’s honestly such a priceless moment.
Thabi and MaNgobese are cleaning up and checking both mother and child.
It’s a happy day.
“Lefatselabarena”, is the name that mofomahadi names her.
“Perfect”, Khotso says as he falls in love with the next most important girl in his life. Khotso Mohale and Ona Mohale – fathers to a baby girl? God really knows how to play jokes on people.

Today, everyone is breathing a little different. The air is a little lighter too.
Fifi and I made our way to Baby Boom at five a.m this morning and just bought baby essentials. Thank God Shaka owns so many of these stores and he just opened shop for us. We are now decorating the kitchen for a baby launch for both Khotso and Oluremi. We are doing what we can with the little time that we have and the bit we can do in such a short space of time.

When everyone comes to breakfast, they walk into the baby launch and Khotso has his baby girl wrapped in his arms already.
They seem so happy together. Oluremi walks in with Tholoana and Mohale. They are so happy that they have a baby sister. Fifi advised me that we should buy gifts for Tholoana and Mohale too – gifts from their sister to them. So they join Khotso and Oluremi on the baby launch stage to also get showered for being new big brothers. They are so proud.

We spend an hour showering them all with gifts – even Ona joins them. When the baby is with Khotso, Ona is gushing over her. When Ona has her, Khotso can’t wait to have her back in his arms.
“I’ll drive you guys to the hospital for check ups”, Ona says to Khotso and Oluremi.
“While they are gone, Zithulele and Maboko will set up the baby crib, stroller and everything else for Rena. Fifi and Tlali will unpack the baby clothes and toiletries”, I give the instructions.
Everyone doesn’t seem to mind. They all just agree.
“I’ll keep my ear on the Tholoana Kingdom ground and keep debates ongoing. I’ll also send a peace dove out to see if it returns.” I say.
“Thank you, T. You really are our fixer.” Shaka says.
I smile at them.
The day begins.

Mohale and Tholoana are with Shaka and me tonight. Oluremi and Khotso are dealing with a newborn. Mohale and Kea are working overtime with Teboho to fix the Tholoana Kingdom mess. Thabi is not interested and Letlali has her kids to keep her busy.
I’m actually not bad at still being a mom to little people. I have bathed them. Mohale is chatting up a storm. Tholoana gets involved here and there, but he definitely likes attention and loves being the baby. He needs to grow up fast. He has a baby sister now.

“We should make one together”, Shaka randomly says.
“Excuse me?” Me.
“Don’t you want to try for a Maphumulo bambino?” Him.
“You actually want to have more children? We have three of the best… two are showing us flames and you actually want to have more?”
He laughs aloud. I just giggle. He has Mohale sitting on his shoulders and Tholoana is jumping up and down the bed in his pyjamas.

“Well, I know I didn’t do a good job with Ntuthuko and Nompumelelo. Luhle was my real first opportunity to be a father and I made my mistakes, but I did better with her. Mason was my brief taste in what it would be like to have a little one with you and I liked it. Maybe we are good to have one together.” He says.
“I honestly didn’t think a child is a thing you wanted from me of all things yaz. I must say, I’m quite surprised. I’ve always thought that you are a bit too old for little children.” I say.
He laughs aloud again. Then he says, “I’m a man. A man is never too old to have children.”
I just smile.
“So, you want to try?” He asks me.
“Can I think about it? I’m not sure if I want kids. I mean, any day, any one of your three kids can make us grandparents.”
“So? Those won’t be our kids. And I’m not Mohato. You have a child, you move out of my house and go raise your child under your own roof. I’m not raising kids for people. I raise my own kids.”
“Hawu baby… you don’t want to be a mkhulu?”
“I can be a mkhulu, I’m just not a new father to grandchildren. I’d rather make my own kids with my beautiful woman. We would make stunning kids hey.”
I laugh.

There is a knock on our door.
Shaka gets the door – with Mohale still on his shoulders.
There’s a happy “hey” at the door, then Ona and Khotso walk in.
“Hey guys”, I greet them.
“I hope these two are not being naughty”, Ona says.
“No papa. We have been very good.” Mohale is the first to answer.
“And papa, we were not mean or rude. We’ve been nice for Shak and Mam’Fifi. Ask them”, Tholoana is learning very well from Mohale to be a defensive little one.
“They’ve been amazing. We are all preparing for a movie now then it’s bedtime.” I say.
“Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it”, Ona.
“No problem at all. How’s the new sister?” I ask.
Khotso’s face just lights up immediately. Ona is also smiling from ear to ear.
“She’s so precious, man. I never thought we’d ever father daughters. I mean, it’s not like we strictly wanted sons. But a daughter? That’s a whole new different ball game.” Khotso.
“You will get used to it. They are the sweetest, but they are also the toughest. One day you are their world, the next day they are telling you to fuck off.” Shaka says.
“Whaaaaaattt?” Ona and Khotso are now suddenly shocked.
Shaka laughs at them.
“The best thing you can do for a daughter is the same thing you should for a son – be there. Understand them. Don’t let speculation and everything else but you raise her. Love them. Understand what makes them sad. Understand what makes them happy. Notice changes in their lives. And when you have no idea how to help them, offer them a hug and a silent date. They’ll let you in eventually. You’ve never met these people before and they’ve never met you. This is your first time being parents to them and it’s their first time being your children. Your relationship will be a partnership of just doing this thing and hoping for the best. You might get it right or you might get it wrong. The important thing is that you love them no matter what.”
He really is…
The twins are so moved by this…
Each twin has a baby in his arms.
“But you’ll be fine. Oluremi seems to be a good mother and she partners with you guys very well”, Shaka says and I actually agree with him.
“She is.” Khotso says.
“And as for Ona… hurry up and get a second wife. Thabi cannot be all the wife you have”, Shaka says.
“Weh!” I say. They suddenly remember that I’m here too and they laugh.
“But you sold her to me, Shak.” Ona says.
“She’s ideal on paper and she’s beautiful. But yoh, I personally wouldn’t be able to keep her for more than a month. But I do see that she’s learning to be humble and respectful now”, Shaka.
“Should I maybe leave you guys to discuss this in private?” I say.
Now they all gather around on our bed. I really didn’t want to be included in this conversation.
“What do you think of Thabi?” Khotso asks me.
“It shouldn’t matter what I think of Thabi. What’s important is what Ona thinks of Thabi”. I say.
“She’s going to be married to a king. It will matter what people think of her.” Shaka says and he has a point.
“So, you don’t think she will be a good queen because she has chosen to not have children and she made a choice about her body that men seem to be unhappy about?” Me.
“I just don’t understand the way that she thinks, man. But I do like her. I want to see where she and I can go. Although, she might not be my queen.” Ona says and we all look at him.
He smirks.
“I’ve been talking to Tholoana’s mom. She’s finally filed for a divorce from that fucken loser that she’s married to and I’m trying to convince her to move to Tholoana Kingdom so we can raise our son together.” He says. And he says it with so much…
“Doesn’t she have other kids?” Shaka asks him.
“She does. Two boys. But they are almost teenagers now and she can move up here with them.”
“Wouldn’t their father want to be involved in their lives? Would he agree to them just moving to another country?” Shaka is asking very relevant questions.
“That motherfucker will be fine. The point is that Thandeka is from a royal family. She’s better fit to be queen than what Thabi is”, Ona says.
“Why don’t you marry her first then? Don’t complicate this. Delay your wedding to Thabi, as soon as Thandeka is divorced, marry her then marry Thabi afterwards.” Khotso says. I can’t believe he is supporting this.
“Thabi is also from a royal family. How is Thandeka more a better fit than her? Thabi is from a royal family in Tholoana Kingdom”, I say.
“Thandeka is the mother of my son and i know she will not have an issue raising my children with me.”
“Probably the only children you will ever have because you shouldn’t expect any from Thabi.” Khotso.
“So, what will Thabi’s role be as your second wife?” Shaka.
“We are still figuring it out”, Ona says then the three of them laugh.
This conversation is actually disgusting. They are talking about women like they are some pieces in a puzzle that can be moved around and altered to suit what an ideal woman is for them.
“You know, for people who are now fathers to girls, your opinion on women is disgusting. And wena Shaka, this is how you speak about women in front of me after you’ve just asked me for a child? This is the shit that you want to raise my child with?”
Silence.
“Sies mahn!” I say then get into bed and pull the blanket over my head.
Mxm!
These losers just take the conversation to another room.

I’m not sure when Shaka got back into bed mast night, but I’m waking up next to him this morning. Ntuthuko and Nompumelelo have already left. Shaka has them rebuilding a house they burned down. So they leave at 6am to meet up with their friends and they start working. Then they come back here at 8pm when they are done for the day.
Mohale and Tholoana are still asleep between Shaka and me and I have no desire to wake them up. Shaka is also still fast asleep.

I go on my phone and start scrolling through my emails. I’ve been dismissed in absentia. Honestly, I even forgot that I was suspended and had to attend a disciplinary enquiry. I see here that they moved my disciplinary enquiry three times because I didn’t show up and didn’t submit a reason for not attending. Whatever.
I also see that Tholoana Kingdom, Mohato Mohale and Kea Mohale are trending on social media platforms. But the narrative is changing. Regodise has been labelled as overall unnecessary. She can’t be this person who just exposes family secrets just because she’s bitter and hurt. Some people even say that her entire broadcast had nothing to do with the world. She needed to resolve her own domestic issues without making them the world’s group assignment. People are also saying that she actually wants people in Tholoana Kingdom to starve just to fight her marital battles.

Okay, this is good.
There are international news broadcasters who are debating Mohato’s leadership, especially for a community and country such as Tholoana Kingdom. There are round table talks as well and you know what, the clips that are being shared are good conversations to have. Thankfully, Dise bought people TVs as well out of her own generosity. So people everywhere are listening to these conversations.

“Mama”, I hear a little voice.
I turn around and face the kids.
“I need to pee. My brother too.” Mohale says to me.
“Okay. Come boy, let’s go to the toilet.” I say.
He climbs off the bed himself, telling me he is a big boy when I tried to help him off the bed. Tholoana lets me carry him.
I watch these two boys relieve themselves. Mohale is teaching Tholoana to basically aim straight. But Tholoana is too short to stand over the toilet and release. He needs a little potty to pee in if he has to stand over and aim straight. Mohale just simply stands and pees. He loves being tall now.
Tholoana kind of makes a mess. Then I see Mohale teaching him how to take tissue when he is done and wipe his mess. This is beautiful. Maybe, I should think about having a baby with Shaka.

When they are done, they wash their hands. They sing happy birthday as they wash their hands.
“Why do you sing that?” I ask them.
“Mommy said that we have to sing the happy birthday song when we wash our hands. That’s how long our hands should be under running water.” Mohale says.
Oluremi is doing a good job with them.
“Hey”, Shaka is at the bathroom door. With my cellphone.
“Olu is looking for you.” He says as he gives me my phone.
I take my phone from him.

“Hey Lulu”, I answer the phone.
“Hey Fifi. I wanted to check in on the boys. How are they? Did they sleep okay?” She asks me.
“They are good. Let me put you on speaker.” I say then I put her on speaker.
“Say hi to your mom, boys”. I say.
Mohale takes the phone from me and holds it between him and Tholoana.
“Hi mom.”
“Hello mama.”
“Hey boys. I missed you last night. Did you sleep good with Mam’Fifi and Shak?”
“We did. And we were good. We didn’t wet the bed.” Mohale says.
“And we wash out hands after using toilet.” Tholoana. His speech will get there. I’m not worried.
“That’s good, my babies. Thank you for being such good boys. I love you guys so much.”
“We love you too, mommy.”
“Love you”.
“I’ll see you at breakfast, okay?” Lulu.
“Okay. How is Rena?” Mohale asks.
“She’s awake and already making a noise.” Lulu says.
“But she’s so small. How can she make a noise when she is so small?”
We just laugh.
“Tell sister we love her.” Mohale.
Tholoana is already gone back into the bedroom. I even hear him and Shaka talking.
“Okay, my boy. I love you.”
“I love you, mommy.”
He hangs up then hands me my cellphone saying, “Thank you, Mam’Fifi.”
“You are welcome, my boy.”

Breakfast is really nice, but Teboho, Mohato and Kea look exhausted. Luhle’s loud laugh is fascinating the kids, but is a bit much for us who’s hearing is becoming a bit more sensitive as we age. I don’t even know what she’s laughing at and she has actually disappeared on me. But this is homeground for her. I’m sure she has friends around here or maybe she hangs out with her siblings when they are working with the community.

“VIMBA!” We hear people screaming outside.
There is commotion.
The kids want to go outside and see, but we stop them with the “yey!”
They begrudgingly stay within the kitchen. Shaka, Mohato, the twins, Maboko and Zithulele go see what’s happening outside. Luhle is right behind them.
We hear commotion from them now and honestly, I get up to go and see what the commotion is all about because these are my kids that are out there.
Nompumelelo and Ntuthuko have pissed off the community again and now the community is beating them up.
Do these kids not learn?

“Shaka, stop this!” I say.
Zithulele is the one who shoots his gun in the air. People are actually scared of guns here.
Shaka is looking at his kids as if he is going to finish them off.
This is bad!
“Bayenzeni?” Shaka asks the community.
“They stole from Msibi’s shop.” A man says.
“What did they steal?” I ask.
“Everything. They cleaned the shop out.” Another man says.
“Do you have proof of that?” I ask.
Some man brings me his phone. It is video footage of both Nompumelelo and Ntuthuko stealing from this shop like systematic criminals.
“You are not going to kill my children. I’ll phone the police and they’ll go into custody.” Shaka says.
“Shaka?!”
“What now?! What, Refiloe? This is the life that they want angisho? They steal from me and they steal from the community…they burn down people’s houses… they must just fuck off and go be with criminals who are just like them.” He yells at me.
Why am I being yelled at? What did I do?
“This is really coming from you after you’ve killed my mother?” Nompumelelo.
“Were you there? Did you see me do it? Do you want me to add defamation of character to your charges? Ungazong’phaphela wena. We are not friends.” Shaka.
“Akahloniphi nokuhlonipha! Sies!” The people around us.

Teboho is now next to me trying to calm me down. The police have arrived, the community has given statements and now, the two kids are being taken away.
I don’t even know how to feel. This is someone that I must birth kids for?
Ntuthuko and Nompumelelo were wrong. They are wrong. But you’d think that with their father being a top thug, he would be more open to guiding them instead of throwing them to the wolves.
He’s not even saying anything about bail.
“Shaka –
“Refiloe, they fucked up. How many chances are we supposed to keep giving them?”
“Are you going to bail them out at least?”
“With what money? They still owe me for stealing from me. Now they’ve gone and ran up another bill that I must pay for. I must make sure that house is built and I must make sure that Msibi’s shop is stocked. I don’t have money to bail out leaches. This is the life they want, they can live it. I’m not here to live for paying their debts. Ngeke!”

“I’ll help finish the building of the house”, Maboko.
“Me too”, Ona.
“Me too”, Khotso.
“Count me in”, Zithulele.
They follow each other to the house and I guess that’s their new project for now.
“Baba, we will drive with you to buy the stock that was stolen and we will help you repack the shelf”, Kea says to Msibi.
Kea and I are the ones who must go shopping with these men. Thabi opts to come with us because she doesn’t want to be looking after kids with Tebza, Oluremi and Letlali.

We spend two hours stocking up for Msibi. He is here with us.
The community seems to like us now. So we will not be burned alive while fast asleep in our rondels.
Thabi and I are mopping and dusting the shop first before we just put the stock in here.
“Are you okay?” Thabi asks me.
“I just can’t believe Shaka is going to let the kids spend the night in prison.” I say.
She is quiet.
I guess she believes they deserve it.

We are now packing the shop as best as we can. Msibi’s wife and children are helping us so we know where everything goes. Shaka is apologizing once again for Ntuthuko’s and Nompumelelo’s behaviour. He gives Msibi petty cash worth ten thousand rands. Hai ke!

Now the community members are all coming to Shaka to talk about how Ntuthuko and Nompumelelo have messed up in their yards. Morena and Tebza see this as a PR opportunity for always being about the people. We are all now being helpful and rebuilding where we can while Tebza has us on video, taking pictures and paying people to post nice things about us.
I’m just worried about the two that are behind bars.
